The first images of new all-in-one Lenovo came in sight, this computer is targeted especially for the professional sector. With the Lenovo ThinkCentre A70z name comes with Celeron or Core 2 Duo and a 500GB hard drive. It has a 19-inch LCD screen and comes with an integrated webcam and an optical drive. Starting time offered is 35 seconds and will be priced at $ 499 for the base configuration.
Lenovo also introduced to the market a computer tower called ThinkCentre A58e which shares some features with the all-in-one as the use Celeron or Core 2 Duo. A risky bet on Dell XPS Adamo, not only price but also by design. Particularly, I think Dell has sought, with this portable, make a demonstration of what it can do its engineering department to design and create a computer rather than actually useful.
But to get the final product, the team has gone through a series of prototypes and conceptual designs, some of which now shows us the PCWorld. In one, we can see in the first image, tried to integrate a 4-inch multi-touch screen instead of a trackpad.
The high cost of this option was rejected, it would have further raised the price of Dell XPS Adamo. Another prototype was still touch the concept further, because it integrated in many parts of the computer, for example on the keyboard.
I truly believe that this would not have had much success because the keys are replaced by touch buttons, no motion, something that most users would have taken too long to adjust.
In the final version of the Dell XPS Adamo motherboard and the components have been distributed across the surface of the laptop so get that extreme thinness. Another previous prototypes had these elements together, which made it slightly thicker, similar to the MacBook Air.
Was dismissed for not being thin enough, but he brought an interesting point: all input and output ports in a small panel with cover.
